Our Vision
To be acknowledged within the fields of education and residential care as an
innovative, dynamic and distinctive contributor to the academic, personal and
social development and well being of our students.
Our Mission
In partnership with parents / guardians and School, Swanleigh strives to
enrich the total personal development of our students, including spiritually,
morally, academically, culturally, physically, and socially, ensuring that they
realise their full potential. Within a Christian setting, Swanleigh provides a
supportive community environment and a diverse program of activities, pastoral
care, and academic support.
We Believe That...
All Swanleigh students:
- Should be treated with respect and have a responsibility to treat others
with respect.
- Have a real worth and potential which is best encouraged in an
environment which promotes the Christian ethos.
- Should feel that they belong and are valued for themselves.
- Should be encouraged to share with others and be cooperative and
collaborative members of their community.
- Have a right to feel safe and cared for in an environment free from
verbal, physical and emotional abuse.
- Should be given opportunities to show leadership, creativity,
co-operation and concern for others.
- Be encouraged and acknowledged for positive deeds and achievements.

caring environment in which our students can achieve their full potential.S

towards the attainment of Swanleigh's goals.
- Should be proactive in their communication with Swanleigh parents /
guardians and partner schools.
- Should be supportive of Christian principles and their responsibility to
provide, by example, a mature and willing role model for our students.
- Should be positive role models to our students in their positive
participation in Swanleigh activities, their own personal and academic
development, nutrition, health, lifestyle, and communication.
